- me: dammit! we're missing brand new at bamboozle!
- sam: i'm in florida touching everybody's shit. i wish i was at bamboozle!
- me: i just left florida yesterday! where in florida are you?
- sam: really!? i got in yesterday. i'm in ocala, horse capital of the world or something.
- grant: but how many do i take?
- me: between 2 and 4.
- grant: well, what's the difference?
- me: ...the amount.
- grant: right. i guess i mean, how badly does your stomach have to hurt per dose?
- me: i take two. if that doesn't work, i take two more.
- grant: oh.
- me: it's really scientific.
- grant: *on porch* hey, will you lock this door and i'll meet you at the front door?
- me: sure. but, don't you have to lock the front door? i don't have a key.
- grant: funny thing about locks—i can lock them from the outside!
- me: omg, duh. right.
- me: hey, while you're down there, can you hand me my water bottle?
- grant: *hands over empty film canister*
- grant: *hands over nickel*
- grant: *hands over empty water bottle from under the bed*
- grant: *hands over firewire*
- grant: *hands over zippo lighter fluid*
- me: i should've known this was coming.
- grant: *hands over my water bottle*
so this ridiculousness happened last night. it was a photo scavenger hunt.
a) a jewish horrah, in which sam and nate lifted me in a chair. impressive.
b) sam and i re-enacting ‘kiss the girl’ from the little mermaid. nate and erika are various sea creatures in the background.
c) sam kept making kissy faces that were so ridiculous, i couldn’t stare dreamily at him and kept laughing.
- grant: i didn't want to be a valentine so i found things to do.
- me: precisely why i watched several educational youtube vids on race and domestic violence today. not that anyone inquired to be my valentine. even my sister shot me down with a "mein kampf" reference
- grant: why is that even in your sister's reference repetoire?
- me: i honestly don't know. she's in all AP classes?
- grant: AP Hitlerature?
