
34 miles before i got to work today.
-one block from my place, the fire dept. showed up. all i saw was a couple watching a small girl try to control a large, shirtless dude.
-it’s dark out at 5 am. people need to have reflective tape on their clothing if they’re walking/running. i can’t see you (the bike path isn’t lit). this guy scared the shit outta me when i rolled up on him and he seemed to appear out of nowhere. he just was not wearing anything reflective so my [weak] light didn’t catch him.
-also, wtf is up with all these cyclists not wearing their helmets? you’re up at 5am, doing laps around the reservoir. put on a helmet. it’s dark out.
-also, get some lights for your bike. it’s dark out.
